Promotion Strategy--Example of Advertising Commercials


This video urges consumers to use Colgate Brand and this video show that consumers choose Colgate toothbrush instead other toothbrush. 




This video presents that property toothbrush that it can Cleans the teeth, tongue, cheeks and gums using a unique flexible head for a healthier whole-mouth clean.I think that if you use  this toothbrush it make you have healthier teeth. At the end of the video, it has a slogan "Recommended By Dentists" that it can motivate consumers very well.


 

The video shows the presenters are so tired and exhausted; they use Colgate wisp toothbrush  for taking care of their healthier teeth . Besides, they are certainly fresh and
active in doing many activities.

  This  video  is advertising about toothbrush in order to attract for kid. By they shown dancing  was very fun and happy. so I feel  very fun when I'm look at advertising it make I bought toothbrush.

Journal 5 Let's Learn product strategy


This week, I can learn about product category consist of tangible it mean to can touch such as car, mobile phone, computer etc. and intangible it mean Can't touch such as insurance, service industry, safety and feeling. Then the teacher taught product definition that is Product +Service  for example product including service you buy phone.
When you buy product have example Brand+Model product such as Honda+ Honda civic +after-sale service or apple + ipad+ after-sale service. Then I learn about how many functions/parties involve in managing a product? Product Strategy refer to Parties involves consist of R&D(research& Development), Marketing, Warranty, Packing, Support and Service. After that I take note about product components which it consist of brand or logo, product line( a kind of product) and product models(for example colgate product have colgate sentitive, colgate total ,colgate herbal etc. )
Today I learn about new word of business and it make I receive many knowledge.







Journal 4 positioning Strategy

This week, The teacher open blog as interesting. Then  the teacher have  two question  is  “ What do you wear? “ , “What do you thing you wear?”
For me, two question are difference, first question is about things that we wear such as shoes, accessories and skirt. But second question is about us feeling ,desire or value in our mind.  Then  I have a lecture about product strategy  that it consist of product line, target groups, branding, positioning and key successful of the product. After that  the teacher have warm up activity by the teacher opened TV commercial look at the advertising within 20 second. Then we  write about product brand , target groups and positioning. Today I feeling fun and receive many knowledge. Also I prepare role play  in order to performance are  fully.

What we have learned on this week?(journal3) June 7-9 2011




This week, the teacher began to talk about the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs by asking us an interesting question  that what kind of the customer’s needs does the brand serve?  For me,My brand that I chose is colgate because it's Belonging and Ego-status that most People need to be owner about this products. After that the teacher taught us about the the production positioning that is a unique selling point.Then the teacher have example watch unique fashion able. Finally, the teacher explain brand values that brand values consist of  fun, excitement, sexy, modern, prestige and first class.
The teacher advise that we should brand as global brand because we can research a lot of content.

My Reflection on Victoria’s Secret



When I receives Victoria’s secret website from the teacher so I enter this web, I try to read property of product. It’s interesting promotion and various styles of products.
Moreover, colorful and sexy pictures indicate the brand quality and value.
I think that Victoria’s secret is product that have famous in worldwide in group of women both internality and international. I like Victoria’s secret was very interesting because they have many kinds of products such as underwear, panties, clothes, and shoes.  The purpose of  Victoria’s secret is advertisement multiple media, for example annual fashion show, catalogues, and internet sales in order to appear to purchase products.
In my opinion, Positioning of Victoria’s secret is annual fashion show so that attract we interested purchasing. The promotion is sales channels to ensure a consistment brand image.
For me, Victoria’s secret have cost very expensive so I can’t buy underwear, but I like
Victoria’s secret brand very much.
